Okay. My name is Matt, I am the head honcho of this forum and website. I am 16 now, and I have loved trains since I was 3. I live in Houston, TX, we will soon move to the panhandle of Florida (CSX territory). I am about to be a junior in high school. I don't get to railfan often, maybe about 3 or 4 times a year in Texas. In fact, I tend to railfan in California more than Texas, sadly. Whenever I do railfan Texas, I typically go to Rosenberg, due to the wonderful abundance and variety of trains there.
In terms of weather, we don't get it much here, but that is the reason why I want to go to school in Kansas, for trains and weather. I love severe weather during the rare events we do get it, though. When I go to college, I want to go to SKYWARN training and be a part of it so that I can help people know when the weather is threatening. Well, that is about it that you all need to know about me!
